Charms!

So, I love the look of resin jewelry and that sort of thing and wanted to try to make some of my own.  I found this stuff called Mod Podge Dimensional Magic and have been using it to make charms.  It is so fun coming up with ideas of what images to use or what to "float" inside them!  This isn't real resin and they aren't very deep at all so I can't "float" lots of things in these, but glitter works pretty well!  I also learned that it works best if you glue the image down and let it dry before you fill it with the "magic" and to also glue the glitter in place if you want it to only be in specific spots in the charm.  Let the glue and the glitter dry a little bit also before you add the "magic".  I also used a little scrap booking sticker in one and that worked well, too!  I'm sure there are endless ways to use this stuff, but this is what I have done so far!  How do you like it?
This is an Audrey charm and I added a touch of glitter on her earring and tiara! I think it came out really cool!
This one I added red glitter to her rose and to her blood tears and a bit on the bottom lip.
This one is an octopus with black eyes and the bubbles came up by accident and I didn't notice them until they were dried in!  Totally accidental, but I think it works for this one because it sort of gives the effect of being underwater!  Usually, you don't want bubbles and if you see them as they come up and the "magic" hasn't started to set yet, you can pop them with a pin or smooth them out with a toothpick. I didn't realize that bubbles could appear after its been poured! You live and you learn! I learned you have to check on them every few minutes until they are set! Don't touch the surface if at all possible unless you intentionally want fingerprints in the design.  Also, it works better if the room you are in isn't too cold. They stay cloudy longer and take longer to set if the room is too cold for some reason.  This stuff is easy to work with because it is just soap and water clean up if you get to it before it dries.  Also, it seems to shrink a tiny bit as it dries, so I went back and refilled some of the charms that are deeper and it dries just as clear and smooth and you can't tell it was done in layers.
