Update: Charms!
I used the entire first bottle of Dimensional Magic making all kinds of charms and pendants so I bought another bottle and made lots more things. I'm not too happy with these results! This second bottle isn't drying clear and is making "sink holes" in the projects! I have to go and refill them and it makes much more bubbles. I can't think of anything I've done differently that might be giving me these results. Maybe I just got a bad bottle or it was too old? It was the last one on the shelf at the store... there doesn't appear to be an expiration date on it. Anyway, the ones that came out good or OK I put on chains so I can try to sell them in my "store" on facebook or etsy. Here are a few pictures:
I call this one sad girl. She came out awesome and was from the first bottle of "magic". I just put an 18" chain on it. I LOVE this one!
I call this one evil queen. She has a glittered apple in her hand. She came out good, too and I also added an 18" chain to this one. Also, from the first bottle of stuff.
This is alice. I had high hopes for her! She is the first from the new bottle and I didn't notice the bad texture or dark spots until it was already dry! Bummer! It is cloudy, lumpy, dark spots appeared, and it bubbled by her head! Just not too happy with it, but I think it would have been cool if it had worked right! Wish I knew what went wrong!
These two little copper ones came from the first bottle and came out pretty good. Very smooth finish and no bubbles! My photography skills aren't the best so I couldn't get a good picture of them. The glitter in the fish one reflects so much and the white part of the wolf does, too! They also have an 18" chain on them. I like these two little guys!
These are three pairs of clip on earrings I made with glitter and the "magic" from the first bottle and they came out great. The pictures don't do them justice, unfortunately. My bad photography skills again. They are really smooth and bubble-less! LOL
This one is from the second bottle and came out OK. Again bad photography skills! So sorry! Maybe I need lessons from my daughter! The background is a paper printout of a creepy castle and then I used shrink plastic for the guy and the dog, printed them on the plastic, cut them out, shrank them, and then glued them down on top of the paper, let that dry and then filled it with the "magic"! I think it is cute! I made a few others like this that came out decent and they will be added to the shop soon.
Here are links to the shops if you want to go check them out! Thanks!
